How long can my GLP-1 medication be left refrigerated?
Alan Health uses specialized, insulated packaging designed to keep your medication within safe temperature limits during transit, even if the ice packs are no longer cold when it arrives.
Your medication is prepared by FDA-regulated 503B pharmacies that follow strict quality standards and conduct extensive stability testing. These tests have shown that GLP-1 medications remain stable and effective when exposed to:
- Up to 5 days at 104°F
- 15 days at 95°F
- 30 days at room temperature
The purpose of the ice packs is to help shield the medication during shipping — not to keep it cold upon arrival. As long as your order was in transit for fewer than 5 days, your medication is safe to use. Please refrigerate the package immediately upon receipt.
